Wisdom is an intelligent approach to social networking on Facebook. The Wisdom app provides users with insightful analytics of their social networks.

Why would I want to use the Wisdom app?
With Facebook's rapid growth and widespread adoption by people across all demographics, more and more Facebook users are finding that they need a better way to manage the overwhelming amount of information that's available to them about their networks and friends. Wisdom is a way to filter the discussion happening on Facebook, see the most important happenings at a glance, and view summary-level statistics about your Facebook friends and activity.

App Features

What is the Feed? And why are there no photos or videos in it?
Wisdom's Feed helps you view your Facebook News Feed by removing the clutter and displaying the most popular and meaningful posts. The Feed is designed to provide a condensed and streamlined view of your Facebook News Feed – 15-20 posts vs. 3-4 in Facebook – so that you can consume the content more rapidly.

How do I see the complete details of a post in my Intelligent Feed or add a Comment or Like?
All posts in the Intelligent Feed are active hyperlinks that can be clicked by hovering over any of the text in the post. Once clicked, a new browser window (or tab) will be launched with the full post and the Comment and Like details. Friends are also active hyperlinks that can be clicked to see the Friend's profile page.

My Intelligent Feed is not working for non-English posts.
The "All" and "Popular" sections of the Intelligent Feed work correctly across all languages. However, the additional sections that categorize noteworthy posts are currently supported for English-language text only.

Some posts are missing from my Intelligent Feed.
In order to provide the most meaningful view of your network, Wisdom removes any posts where the user did not input any commentary (for example posting a picture without writing anything about it) and also removes posts published by games, such as notifications about Farmville.

What are the symbols next to certain items in my Intelligent Feed?
The symbols mark which of the posts in your feed have been categorized by mood, topic, or popularity. For example, the star symbol appears next to items that are very popular (commented on or 'liked' by many). You can also see only those categorized posts by clicking on a tab, such as "Romance" or "Travel."

Why are some of the posts in my Feed categorized incorrectly?
Determining the intent of posts and categorizing them correctly is an art, not a science, so there can be false-positives. We are continually working to improve the algorithms used to detect noteworthy conditions in posts and welcome any feedback that can help us improve our text analysis engine. Please inform us at support@wisdom.com of false-positives, posts that should have been detected but weren't or if you have any other suggestions for improving the Intelligent Feed logic.

What is Chatter?
Chatter helps you quickly see at a glance the conversations your friends are having and what they're talking about without having to go to each of your friends' Facebook walls. Chatter allows you to sort by All, Popular, Friend to Friend, and Non-Friend to Friend.

What is Friends?
Friends gives you a complete list of all your friends, their age, gender, location, relationship status, and their last status update. Click on the "See Friendship" link to view posts, comments, and photos of you and a specific friend. Combined with the Filter feature, Friends lets you sort your friend list by location and demographics.

What is Places?
Places shows you the most popular Check-in locations for your friends and displays a ranking of the geographic distribution of your friends by Current City and Hometown.

What is Interests?
Interests displays the most popular and trending interests in your friend network across a number of categories including restaurants/bars, music, movies, books, TV shows, sports, and art.

What is About Me?
About Me gives insights into your Facebook activity, statistics on interactions with your top friends, and graphs displaying age, gender, and relationship status demographics of your network. Tip: By default, all metrics of your Facebook activity are displayed on the About Me line graph; try unchecking some of the metrics below the graph to view fewer statistics at a time.

How does the Filter feature work?
Need to make your reports more specific? Filter by one or several of these factors: Location (Country, State, City), Age range, Gender, or Relationship status. Just click on "Filter" on the top panel to open the Filter window, select your metrics, and click the "Filter" button at the bottom of the window to apply. You can remove a Filter at any time by opening the same window and clicking the "Remove Filter" button.

Why does the Filter exclude friends that I expected to be included in the results?
Some friends may not have complete profile information or may be preventing our application from accessing certain profile details due to their security settings. For example, you may know that one of your friends is "Single", but if they haven't added this to their profile or they are not sharing this information with Facebook Applications, they will not be recognized as being "Single" by Wisdom.

Can you sort a single view/table by multiple features?
Currently, you can only "Sort" on a single column at a time. Use the Filter feature to help narrow down your view to the information you'd like to see.
